Uncontrolled deer numbers cause problems for landowners and motorists on the Ashdown Forest in Kent and Sussex

As deer have no natural predators in the UK, it is important to ensure their numbers are managed effectively, as if left unattended they can multiply rapidly leading to severe damage to crops and property and posing an increasing danger on our roads.

Deer control

The most humane and effective way to do this is using firearms. We hold an open .243 firearms certificate and are fully insured under BASC trade membership.

We have a fully maintained high seat meaning smaller patches of land can also be safely shot over. Our stalker holds DSC Level 1 qualification as well as game meat hygiene to allow any suitable deer to enter the food chain in a reliable way.

With his other experience as a Westminster college trained chef he has the knowledge, expertise and contacts to make sure this happens.

References available from land owners where we currently shoot on a regular basis.

Deer management services

As well as sorting out the odd problem deer, which we would do for no cost other than the deer itself, we can also come up with a full management strategy for land of all shapes and sizes. We would charge a small admin fee for any management plans published but again offer our stalking services for the deer. Also to try to ensure that deer do not return, we can erect deer fences around all sizes of property.
